Barrel of Monkeys Academy: Our Facility

Training

At BMA, we train both our part time and full time employees equally. All our
employees are trained in the following safety guidelines:

1. CPR and First Aid
2. Fire Extinguisher
3. Tornado Safety
4. Fire Drill Routine
5. Disease and Injury Prevention Measures
6. Shaken Baby Syndrome Awareness
7. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Awareness
8. Car Seat Safety
9. Safeguarding the Home
10. Immunization knowledge
11. Any additional Training required per year for all employees

Safety:

At BMA, we have first aid kits to help with any minor emergencies.
More serious injuries, students will be taken to the local emergency room.

Security

At Barrel of Monkeys Academy we know that your child’s safety is of utmost
importance. Our facility was designed to provide your child with a safe and
secure environment.

1. Employees: We perform criminal background checks on all Barrel of
Monkeys employees.

2. Authorized Pickup: We require everyone entering or leaving the building to
check in and out through our front door. Children are released only to those
authorized by the parent. Photos are taken twice a year of the authorized
adults that your child can be release to.

3. Our doors have a keyless lock entry code that must be entered for the door
to open.

3. Internet Video Cameras and Surveillance Cameras are in place at Barrel of
Monkeys.

4. Fire Protection: All rooms have a smoke detector system for fire protection.
Monthly fire drills are held.

5. Tornado's: Tornado drills are held monthly.

6. Our Back Fence: is locked securely at all times.
